How to Buy Fuel Cells

How and where can you buy fuel cells? Throughout the past 10 years the advancement in fuel cells has been extraordinary, literally. We’ve gone from developing them in secret science labs to manufacturing them for the home owners like the rest of us. So what can we expect? Are fuel cells worth your investment? It all depends what you are looking for. The prices of fuel cells are currently fairly high and potentially might not be worth the money. Of course if the price of oil is over $150 a barrel, we are well on our way for fuel cells to become cheaper and easier to maintain.

So what exactly is out there for regular people to purchase? There are tons of fuel cell designs on the market today, many of which will provide you with quiet, efficient energy. One of the most recent breakthroughs are home generators being placed on the open market; all of which can easily provide electricity in emergencies or even to show off to your friends. Having your own clean and efficient energy source in the palm of your hand (not literally of course) is quite the advancement. From toys, to educational books, to cars and generators, there are no limits on what you can purchase. A simple search on your favorite search engine will spawn millions of results, along with hundreds of stores you could purchase these fuel cells from. Beware though of course, along with anything you find online you must be careful. Shop around as much as you can, find different prices and sources. Read reviews, check out any website related to those products. Your number one goal is to find out as much as you can about the company and the product it is selling. With new technology there will be plenty of people looking to exploit the naïve and your best bet is to compare, and ask questions. There are no stupid questions involving technology that you are not familiar with, if you are planning to make an investment in such fuel cells, your best strategy is to know just as much as your seller, if not more!

This is all still new technology, and the prices will clearly reflect upon that. You will be looking to spend at the very least about 10,000 dollars for a reliable home generator capable of providing you with what you need. Combined with the constant renewal for hydrogen or whichever chemical compound it requires is not the cheapest matter. Some companies offer refills delivered right to your home, making it very simple to obtain without a sweat. Your options are vast if you are looking to buy fuel cells, remember to shop around and ask questions to obtain the absolute best of fuel cells.
