Fuel Cell Uses

There are no limits to fuel cell uses. Ideally this is what our planet wants to generate the majority of its energy from in the future. Limited environmental damages, plus the fact that most fuel cells run on natural, abundant, renewable resources make this technology the ideal future. Who decides whether we use fuel cells? Most governments push for regular folks to continue pumping on away at the gas pumps. In reality, you’re sinking yourself into a hole. You’re throwing your money away for product that was deposited on this planet for everyone and not 1 particular company or country to sell or hold against any other. The bottom line of course is that we need to continue investing in renewable, economically friendly, and most importantly environmental friendly energy sources.

So again, most people would like to know what is stopping us. This illusion of fuel cell technology being too expensive is really quite fabricated. Over the course of 15 years, the debt racked up just on prices of oil will far exceed the price of developing and bringing fuel cells into the main stream. For vehicles, homes, planes, electronics, just about anything could be powered by a fuel cell. In our ideal world we would be stopping to fuel up at a Hydrogen station, fill up for a cheap price considering how abundant the resource is and go on with our lives. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t It?

To the public’s knowledge, fuel cell power generation systems that exist today achieve about 40 percent fuel to electricity efficiency requiring hydrocarbon fuel. Most argue that this fuel efficiency rate is still too low to be useful but since these fuel cells operate absolutely silently, they lower the level of noise pollution as well as environmental damages. Another great practical use for fuel cells in our near future would be for any of our portable electronics. Fuel cells would be able to generate vast amounts more energy than the traditional lithium batteries we see now a days. If you are into cell-phones, laptops, PDA, portable video games or just about anything you can bring along with you, this technology is sure to impress. The option for a renewable, reliable, efficient and silent fuel source is now available; we are very close for this technology to becoming mainstream.

Within a few short years; we will hopefully be dependent on renewable and only renewable energy sources. The fuel cell is one of the most ideal, practical, and efficient options to-date. Whether you are looking to drive a fuel cell energized vehicle, live in a completely fuel cell generated home, or enjoy your latest portables at the best quality and efficiency. The fuel cell certainly is the future of energy and there are many fuel cell uses in the works.
